Keren Shemesh: Mentorship for Small Businesses

Keren Shemesh, established and supported by the Edmond J. Safra Foundation, provides expert mentorship to young entrepreneurs, helping guide the next generation of small business growth, entrepreneurship and job creation in Israel.

Every year, Keren Shemesh pairs 300 new young entrepreneurs with experienced, accomplished volunteer mentors from Israel’s business community. Mentors take it upon themselves to support entrepreneurs for up to two years, meeting monthly and providing an invaluable source of mangerial input, experience and support.

Ogen has been making business loans to enterprises in partnership with Keren Shemesh for many years, establishing a close bond and mutual trust.  As a credit lender, Ogen believes strongly that any loan is more successful and less risky when the borrower receives guidance and support alongside financing.  We’re delighted that Keren Shemesh has become part of Ogen.
