The Israel Free Loan Association – IFLA, founded by Professor Eliezer Jaffe z”l, is getting a makeover.
As well as a new look, we’re getting a new name too, Ogen.
What is Ogen?
Ogen is a nonprofit social lending enterprise.
Since 1990 Ogen has provided over $300 million in interest-free loans to over 60,000 small businesses and disadvantaged families.
Ogen will be a home for two partner organizations:
Ogen – Israel Free Loan Fund – The continuation of the classic IFLA model, which will continue to grow and operate our interest-free loan program as before .
Ogen – Israel Social Loan Fund – Our new venture, an impact investment fund providing new levels of loans to borrowers, on a low-interest, non-profit basis.
Both organizations will work to create financial opportunity, change lives and make Israel’s economy fairer and stronger for all sectors of society.
