Sagi Balasha

As Ogen’s CEO, Sagi led a major transformation of the Israel Free Loan Association into a leading non-profit social lending enterprise operating in the field of financial inclusion in Israel, providing affordable credit to disadvantaged segments of the Israeli public. With a current portfolio of $200 million and a robust mentoring and financial guidance arm, under his leadership and vision, Ogen has become a unique and trend-setting organization leveraging philanthropic support and creating first-of-its-kind impact investment opportunities through blended finance models. 

Among his various engagements, Sagi serves as a board member in several companies and non-profit organizations, including: Shikun & Binui Ltd., IsraelIs, Spark IL, Science Abroad, and AI & Data Analytics. He is a shareholder and a treasurer in Keshet David Research & Information, Cyberwell and Talk Israel. Sagi Balasha is a senior executive, economist, and social entrepreneur. Serving as CEO of Ogen since 2016. Sagi remains active in a number of public diplomacy initiatives in support of Israel.
