Business Development Director for USA lenders at SparkIL

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial-minded Business Development Director to lead the development and significant scaling of SparkIL's community of lenders across the United States. This role is at the heart of our mission to bridge the gap between young diaspora Jews and small business owners in Israel's periphery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Initiate, build, and close large-scale partnerships with prominent Jewish organizations in the US, including but not limited to JCC, Masa, Taglit, Hillel, Federations, Moishe House, and more.
  2. Guide the successful integration of partnerships to achieve the recruitment of thousands of lenders.
  3. Manage professional content related to SparkIL in English, ensuring consistent and engaging communication.
  4. Collaborate closely with the SparkIL team in Israel, fostering synergy and alignment.
  5. Provide ongoing support and assistance to the CEO of SparkIL in achieving our mission.

Job Requirements:

  1. Hold an academic degree in business administration, economics, management, marketing, or a related field.
  2. Demonstrate native-level proficiency in both written and spoken English, with a preference for candidates who are American immigrants to Israel.
  3. Possess broad familiarity with Jewish organizations and institutions in the USA.
  4. Previous experience in resource development and/or sales is advantageous.
  5. Exhibit control and experience working with a wide spectrum of social networks.
  6. Be willing to travel to the USA for work meetings approximately 4-5 times a year.
  7. Have the ability to work part-time during United States business hours.
  8. Display independence and an entrepreneurial spirit while consistently achieving goals.
  9. Thrive in a dynamic start-up environment, driven by a commitment to social impact.

Location: The position is based in Jerusalem with a hybrid work arrangement.
