This past March we debuted Omer Netzer's original ballad, during the annual Jewish Funders Network (JFN) International Conference held in Nashville. The original ballad, was written and dedicated to the Ogen community. From the heart of Israel to the soul of Nashville, the song captures Ogen’s social impact through financial inclusion.
Entitled, "Frontline's Back," the lyrics honor those across Israel who are doing everything they can to keep hope alive — running small businesses, rebuilding farms, caring for their families, sheltering evacuees, and leading nonprofits, as well as our supporters who have funded our urgent work on the ground, during this difficult time.
Since our founding in 1990 by Eliezer Jaffe, Ogen’s mission has been to strengthen financial resilience across Israeli society. That mission continues today, more urgently than ever. The Ogen community is made up of a diverse group that includes borrowers, volunteers, mentors, donors, and our team, all working together in the face of extraordinary challenges.
This video is a tribute to the people we serve and those who stand behind them. We invite you to watch and share in a moment of music, meaning, and collective strength. As a non-profit focused on social impact, we know we are more powerful together.
Warning: The song is extremely catchy, as well as powerful.
