A letter to our supporters:
Dear friend, Seven Months ago, Ogen launched the Yuval Campaign to provide interest free loans to Israel’s reservists and their families. Time and again, Israeli reservists have returned to the frontlines — enduring personal sacrifice and mounting financial strain with unwavering resolve. We have already issued over 850 interest-free loans averaging $10,000, providing vital financial breathing room to those who serve — and those who wait for them at home.
But we are reaching only a fraction of the number of reservists and the need continues to grow. May alone saw a sharp spike in demand, as more reservists and their families turned to us for support. That’s why we’ve decided to double our fundraising goal — from $10 million to $20 million — to reach 2,000 families in the coming months.
As Chairman of American Friends of Ogen and as someone who personally contributed significantly to this effort towards the first $10 million and the second $10 million, I’m reaching out to ask for your support once again.
If you’ve already given — thank you. You’ve made a real difference, helping someone get back on their feet with dignity. If you're able to give again, or share our mission with others, now is the time. Every dollar you donate goes directly toward interest-free loans that restore stability, respect, and hope to those who have sacrificed so much.
Please join us in supporting Israel’s reservists and their families.
With gratitude
Bob Gottesman
Chairman, American Friends of Ogen
